Full Marathon runners can register on race day at Keene State College. Registration volunteers will be stationed at the shuttle bus site at Keene State College.
Half Marathon runners will register at the startling at Surry Recreational Dam. Space permitting, you may take the shuttle bus from Keene to the start line even if you haven’t yet registered.
We accept cash or check only. Checks are payable to Clarence DeMar Marathon Corp.

RACE DAY: Sunday, September 24, 2017
Keene State College (see campus map)
Full Marathoners: If picking up your bib and packet on Race Day, do so at Keene State College and then board the shuttle bus to the start in Gilsum.
If you are having family or friends drop you off in Gilsum, pick up your bib and packet at Keene State College first.
Half Marathoners: If you are pre-registered for the half and not checking in until race day, your bib and packet will be waiting for you at the Surry Recreational Dam. You may ride the shuttle bus from Keene State College to the Dam without your bib and packet.
Every registered runner will receive a Clarence DeMar Marathon t-shirt. (Plus a finisher’s medal!) This year we’ll be using an NB9119 long sleeve performance shirts. A sizing chart is available on the Online Registration page.
BUT… If you want to guarantee that you’ll get your requested shirt size, register early!!
We do our best to give each runner their size, but to get the really cool t-shirts we all love, we have to order pretty far in advance. If you register early, then we can make a more accurate order.
Help us help you—register early! And pick up your packet with your amazing t-shirt early!
Early Start Option
If you expect to take more than six hours to complete the Full Marathon, you may begin the race at 7 a.m. You must be pre-registered to start at 7 a.m.. There will be no race day registrations for Early Starters. All Early Starters will be issued a specific bib number series. If your bib number is not in that designated series, you are not permitted to start at 7 a.m.
If you think you may finish in 6 hours or less, you are required to register for the regular 8 a.m. start.
DeMar race officials reserve the right to deny requests for early registration, or otherwise switch an Early Start registration to the regular 8:00am start. If you have registered for the Early Start and we move you to the regular start, we will let you know in advance of the race.
